Let me introduce myself, I'm Erin.

I am Erin, a wife and a Mum to two beautiful daughters, Ashleigh & Stephanie.

 

My youngest daughter, now Aged 11 was born with a Bilateral Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate, Hearing loss and a Cardiac defect. By the time she was 6 she was also diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder.

 

As a mum, I did everything I could to assist raising my daughter with her additional needs so that she could lead 'her best life'. Regular and numerous Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy appointments filled our calendars. However, I struggled to find sensory and educational resources locally to assist my daughter in my home town of Wollongong on the South Coast of NSW.

In 2019 I took a plunge, left my job, followed my heart and founded 

'The Sensory Studio'. 

We created our 'Little Studio' in Fairy Meadow, but by 2022 we had outgrown our space, and have moved to our new much larger store, just down the road at 33 Princes Highway, Fairy Meadow NSW.
